7/16 DIN to Type N Adapters

7/16 DIN connectors acquire their name from the metric measurements of the inner and outer contacts of the interface, 7mm outer diameter of the inner contact and 16mm inner diameter of the outer contact, and the German national standards organization that standardized them (Deutsche Institut fur Normung). 7/16 DIN connector adapters are applied in a wide variety of applications around the world, including antennas, satellite communications and other high power communications applications.

As 7/16 DIN connectors become more popular outside Europe for their elevated power operating levels, 7/16 DIN to Type N connector adapters will be necessary for high power applications.

7/16 DIN to Type N connector adapters are constructed from brass bodies with silver plating, Teflon insulation and silver-plated Beryllium Copper or Brass center contacts. These adapters feature reduced intermodulation generation, improved VSWR, stable electrical and mechanical connection and peak power rating of 40 kW. Higher contact pressure means lower contact resistance and better heat dissipation for better power handling. With interface dimensions and coupling nut torque ten times greater than Type N interfaces and more durable and long-term reliable conductors, these 7/16 DIN adapters will provide a long service life under harsh conditions.
