Agilent Power Limiters

Agilent RF power limiters provide the best broadband input protection from excess RF power, DC transients and ESD, for a variety of RF and microwave instruments and components. For example, the input circuitry of spectrum analyzers, network analyzers, frequency counters or amplifiers can be protected from unintentional inputs up to 5W average power. At even greater power levels, failure mode for the RF power limiter is either an open circuit or a short circuit to ground, thereby protecting the instrument from damage.

11867A RF Power Limiter

The Agilent 11867A RF limiter is a general purpose diode limiter designed to provide input protection for a variety of instruments. The input circuitry of spectrum analyzers, frequency counters or amplifiers can be protected from unintentional inputs as high as 100W peak or 10W average power. At even greater power levels, failure mode for the Agilent 11867A rf limiter is either an open circuit or a short circuit to ground, thereby protecting the instrument from damage.

11930A RF Power Limiter

The Agilent 11930A rf power limiter provides input protection for a variety of RF and microwave instrumentation. Input circuitry in network analyzers may be protected for inputs up to 6W peak or 3W average power using the Agilent 11930A. The Agilent 11930A is furnished with an APC-7 (7-mm) connector. The 11930A rf power limiter offers low insertion loss and linear operation at low input levels while providing protection against transients or short duration overloads.

11930B RF Power Limiter

The Agilent 11930B limiter provides input protection for a variety of RF and microwave instrumentation. Failure mode for the limiter is either an open circuit or a short circuit to ground, thereby protecting the instrument from damage. The Agilent 11930B provides the same protection to spectrum analyzers and sources. At even greater power levels, failure mode for limiter is either an open circuit or a short circuit to ground, thereby protecting the instrument from damage. The Agilent 11930B power limiter is furnished with a Type N connector. This power limiter offers low insertion loss and linear operation at low input levels while providing protection against transients or short duration overloads.

11947A RF Transient Limiter

It is always a good idea to use an Agilent 11947A rf transient limiter in pre-compliance applications where a spectrum analyzer is used for measurements instead of an EMI receiver. The Agilent 11947A transient limiter protects the spectrum analyzer input from damage caused by high-level transients from line impedance stabilization networks (LISNs) during EMI testing for conducted emissions.

N9355 & N9356 RF Power Limiters

The Agilent N9355 and N9356 series of high performance power limiters are designed for high volume manufacturers and R&D sectors in telecommunications, component test, and aerospace/defense industries. Agilent power limiters provide the best broadband input protection from excess RF power, DC transients and ESD (Electro-Static-Discharge), for a variety of RF and microwave instruments and components, like spectrum analyzers, network analyzers, and amplifiers.

Agilent N9355 and N9356 rf power limiters also include a DC block integrated into both input and output ports that will block signals below 10MHz and pass signals up to 50GHz.
