BNC to N Type Adapters

BNC connector to N type connector adapters are typically used to connect the coax cable from test and measurement equipment (e.g., Agilent or Tektronix or SWR meters) to an RF transmitter system.

A BNC connector is a type of coax connector often used where shielded coaxial cable is required for signal connections or controlled impedance applications (to control standing wave ratios).

The N-Type connector is a larger threaded coaxial connector known for its high power handling and good high frequency characteristics. N-type connectors are generally usable to 12.5GHz, with some connectors providing good results up to 18 Ghz. N type connectors are often used as the rf connector / antenna connector on mobile or base station equipment (as opposed to SMA or TNC connectors often used on hand-held equipment).
