Safety in the lab or in the field has never been so important. Yet modern test equipment requires the use of shrouded, 4mm safety banana plug test leads that are incompatible with older devices under test.

Retractable shrouded banana plugs test leads solve this problem with a clear plastic shroud that prevents accidental contact with the plug's conductor yet slides out of the way to engage with both safety-shrouded and standard banana jacks. Plug tip insulators provide additional user protection. Now one set of test leads can work safely with all your equipment.

Retractable shrouded test leads are available in 4 conductor gauges with either silicone or PVC insulation. Stackable plugs feature a built-in jack accept any 4mm banana plug for dual connections at a single test point. Silicone insulation combines high flexibility with resistance to burns and caustic chemicals while PVC insulation offers durability with economic value. All leads feature wire made from hundreds of strands for maximum flexibility and meet the safety requirements of IEC 61010-031. RoHS compliant.
