Banana Plugs, 4mm Shrouded, Retractable Sleeve, Stacking

Retractable sleeve, shrouded stacking banana plugs fit both standard and safety-shrouded 4mm banana jacks. Retractable sleeve prevents accidental contact with the plug's conductor yet slides out of the way to engage with standard banana jacks. Plug tip insulators provide additional user protection. Stacking banana plugs also feature a standard 4mm jack located directly behind the plug to permit mulitple connections through a single contact point up to plugs maximum rating.

Compatiable with all modern multi-meters as well as legacy banana jacks found on older control panels. Recommended for OSHA compliance.

Except as noted, all retractable sleeve, shrouded stacking banana plugs are field-installable - no soldering required. Each connector has two, nickel-plated set screws that make solid contact with the wire and wire insulation to unquestionably insure a reliable long-lasting secure electrical and mechanical connection. Retractable sheath banana plugs are available in black, red, yellow, green, blue and white to match your test equipment or test fixture set-ups. Other colors available in quantity as special orders.

Please note: Set screws are tightened with a 1.5mm hex key wrench which are sold separately (see listing on connector product pages).
