Automotive test lead kits are designed to meet the special needs of automotive technicians diagnosing and repairing automotive electrical-electronic systems.

These kits typically feature silicon test leads (versus inexpensive PVC plastic-coded test leads) that have exceptionally good resistance to solvents, oils and hot surfaces usually found in automotive engine compartments.

Some of these test kits also feature special insulation piercing test leads that allow signal measurements to be made without destroying the wire insulation.

Other accessories typically used in automotive electrical-electronic repair include clamp-on AC/DC current probes and high voltage multimeter probes.

For those automotvie technicians using oscilloscopes (e.g., for oxygen sensor troubleshooting), in addition to standard x1, x10 scope probes, we also carry x1000 high voltage scope probes that can extend the use of your oscilloscope to diagnosing secondary ignition problems.
