Universal Coaxial RF Connector Adapter Kits


Each Universal Coaxial RF Adapter Kit allows you to create any combination of coax adapters for BNC, N type, TNC, RCA, UHF, mini-UHF and SMA connectors by screwing together two separate rf adapters to a universal center adapter. Direct RF Adapter Kits feature a selection of single-piece connector adapters that do not require assembly and cannot be modified.

The advantage of a universal coaxial adapter kit is that you are "never" without the adapter you need since you can build exactly the right adapter for the job at hand. Two reasons engineers sometimes prefer direct coax adapter kits is potentially less signal loss due to fewer mating surfaces and less likelihood of signal loss and foreign object damage from a universal connector that vibrates loose.
