Fluke BP190 battery pack is a rechargeable Nickel Metal Hydride (Ni-MH) battery pack. The Fluke BP190 is the correct battery pack for the following Fluke Scopemeters: 192, 192B, 196, 196B, 196C, 199B, 199C and for the following Fluke Power Quality Analyzers: 433, 434, 435.The Fluke BP190 Ni-MH battery pack is rated at 3,500mA with a nominal voltage of 7.2V.Typically, NiMH batteries always meet the specified operating time. However, if the BP190 battery pack has been extremely discharged (for example, when an empty battery pack has been stored for a long period) it is possible that the battery condition may deteriorate.To obtain optimal battery condition again, you can refresh the batteries. During a battery refresh, the BP190 battery pack will be fully discharged and charged again. A complete refresh cycle takes about 12 hours and should be done about four times a year. You can check the latest battery refresh date on a Scopemeter battery by "Displaying Calibration Information" (see Scopemeter manual).The correct battery charger for the BP190 is the Fluke BC190 battery charger and power adapter.
